Static Mixers as the name suggests have stationary (static) mixing elements which induce circuitous flow of polymeric materials and ingredients, at near low shear by splitting and re-uniting streams of material and ingredients . They are generally used where the ingredients can’t withstand high shear using normal mixers.

Various Screw Barrels for any single or Twin screw Extruder can be manufactured by us as per customer requirement. The materials can be selected as per requirement and life. Nitrided 40CrNiMoA is standard for most applications but Tool steels like D2/M2 can also be selected for long life. When used, they usually form a replaceable Liner for easy replacement in the Barrel Shells. The Screws surfaces are hardened also by Spray coating, Stellite welding and other hard faced alloys for wear resistance.
