Clay Extruders

Malik Engineers, Vasai manufacture Pug Mill for processing wet Clay to form various extruded shapes, in various industry like Electrical, Decorative, Clay bricks, Insulating bushes, etc.
This machine consists of a single screw Extruder fitted with fabricated SS screw (Auger) for pushing the wet clay through a suitably shaped die orifice fitted at the Extruder discharge end. The wet Clay is loaded through the Hopper provided with lever handle for pushing the material with some force, inside the Extruder. The Extrusion barrel is provided with Vacuum De-airing port, connected to the suitable vacuum pump unit so that air is not entrapped inside the extruded product to cause un-wanted voids and holes inside the product. The Extrusion Barrel has a Conical Discharge end (nozzle) to build up the Extrusion pressure inside the die, for intricate shapes and dimensions. Main drive consists of an AC motor coupled to high-torque capacity Gear box for trouble free operation of unit. Usually, the product, as it is extruded out is supported on suitable Stand provided with guide rollers, and is cut into fixed lengths manually, but automatic cutter can also be fitted, whereever possible and practical to minimise labour and handling.
The machine is offered in production capacites of 100 Kgs to 500 Kgs/hour on Wet Clay products.
